Superstar Ahmed Amin Joins as Jury for Game Design Final Projects

It was a day to remember at Egypt University of Informatics (EUI), as the renowned superstar and comedian Ahmed Amin joined the Game Design Graduation Showcase as an honorary jury member. His visit brought excitement, inspiration, and a powerful message of support for the future of game development in Egypt and the Arab world.
“I’m truly moved to see something like this happening in Egypt—a proper academic foundation for game development, with such dedication from professors and students,” said Amin during his visit. “This is about creating a hub in the Arab world where talent and passion thrive, shaping the next generation of creators who can turn our stories, values, and even our entertainment into powerful digital experiences.”
What impressed him the most was not just the games themselves, but the educational philosophy behind them. “The way students were guided to pitch ideas, refine projects, and think critically was outstanding! The balance between creative freedom and academic discipline promises an exciting future,” he added.
The showcase featured original, fully playable games created by the first graduating class of EUI’s Faculty of Digital Arts and Design. Each project demonstrated exceptional storytelling, visual artistry, and interactive design—proof of months of hard work under the mentorship of the Game Design faculty.
It was a proud and unforgettable moment as our students presented like true professionals, setting a high benchmark for what's to come. With the support of influential figures like Ahmed Amin and the continued excellence of our students and faculty, Egypt’s journey toward becoming a regional leader in game development is well underway.
