Field Trip to Mohammed Mahmoud Khalil Museum and his Wife for first-year students at the Faculty of Digital Arts and Design
The Faculty of Digital Arts and Design at Egypt University of Informatics(EUI) organized a field trip for students of the first year to the Mahmoud Khalil Museum and his wife under the supervision and presence of Prof. Ashraf Zaki, Dean of the Faculty of Digital Arts and Design and some of the faculty's Teaching Assistants.
Mohammed Mahmoud Khalil Museum is one of the most important arts and cultural museums in Egypt and the Arab world. It encloses a rare collection featuring dozens of works of art by many European artists, such as Renoir, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Rodin, and many other international art greats. The museum contains various collections of oil, water, and bastille paintings, as well as many bronze, marble, and plasterboard statues.
For his part, Prof. Ashraf Zaki expressed his great pleasure for the great hospitality of the museum's team and stressed the interest of EUI in providing high-quality education to its students by integrating the academic aspect with the practical part by organizing field visits and workshops to learn about the various schools of plastic art.
The Dean of the Faculty of Digital Arts and Design has offered a painting he drew of Mohammed Mahmoud Khalil's Palace to his administrators after being restored by the Armed Forces Engineering Authority. This project has won the world award for the best restoration project, as announced by the American Engineering Consultancy ENR.
The Faculty of Digital Arts and Design has been very popular since the official opening of EUI back in 2021 for its unique educational experience for its students through the state-of-the-art studios equipped with the latest global technologies and unique programs aligned with the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as Games Design, Animation Arts, Interaction Design Arts, User Experience Design, and others.
Egypt University of Informatics is the first specialized university in the Middle East and Africa in Communications, Information Technology, and affected areas.
