Dr. Mohamed Ismail chosen as one of the innovative teachers by THE

EUI congratulated Dr. Mohamed Ismail, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, for reaching the final selection for the Times Higher Education (THE) Award Arab World 2024 for the most Innovative Teachers of the Year. 

The judging committee for the Times Higher Education THE Award Arab World 2024 announced Dr. Mohamed Ismail's distinction over hundreds of nominated candidates and his advancement to the final stage,  The name of the award winner will be announced during the Arab Universities Summit, which will take place next December in Jordan.

For her part, Prof. Reem Bahgat, EUI’s President congratulated Dr. Mohamed Ismail on reaching the final selection for the Times Higher Education THE Award Arab World 2024, while affirming that Dr. Ismail is an outstanding example of an academic professor, not only at EUI but across all universities.

Prof. Bahgat expressed pride in the faculty members of the EUI for their innovative methods in delivering advanced and sophisticated sciences and technologies, as the university offers unique and rare specialties and programs that are of utmost importance for the future.

Dr. Amr El-Masry, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, expressed his immense happiness at Dr. Mohamed Ismail’s advancement to the final selection in this important competition, stating, "Dr. Ismail has made significant strides in recent years to develop the tools of the academic professor, relying on interactive methods that enhance the outcomes of the educational process."

For his part, Dr. Mohamed Ismail, expressed his gratitude to the university’s management for nominating him for this award presented by a prestigious global organization that evaluates universities worldwide. He noted that all faculty members at the EUI possess high-level skills, which reflects positively on the quality of education that the university is known for.
