Dr. Amal Elgammal

Biography

Dr. Amal Elgammal leads both the Software Engineering and International Relations departments at EUI while advising the Minister of Communications and Information Technology in Egypt. Additionally, she holds an Associate Professor position at Cairo University and serves as an adjunct senior researcher at ServTech, Germany. With a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Tilburg University, she has conducted post-doctoral research at University College Cork and Trinity College Dublin. Dr. Elgammal's research, supported by industrial experience, includes involvement in EU-funded programs such as H2020 Qualitop and ICP4Life. She fosters academic collaboration between Cairo University and the University of Tilburg under the Erasmus+ KA107 program.
