Two EUI Scholars’ High-Impact Publication

EUI would like to seize the opportunity to congratulate Prof.Mohamed E.El-Sharkawi, EUI’s Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Prof.Hoda M.O.Mokhtar, Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences and their Ph.D. student, Wafaa M.A.Habib for getting their latest publication entitled “ Discovering top-weighted k-truss communities in Large Graphs” published in the “Journal of Big Data” with a high impact factor of 10.835. 

 Since its establishment in 2021 by the Ministry Of Communications and Information Technology, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, EUI has hammered on a set of values, among which is Academic Research,  to maintain its identity as the first specialized university in Communications and Information Technology and their affected fields in the Middle East and Africa. 

Prof.Reem Bahgat, The president of Egypt University of Informatics, congratulated the two prominent Scholars on their high-impact achievement, stressing that EUI will continue to encourage and support further academic research among academic staff members, Teaching Assistants, and students as well. 

Egypt University of Informatics is the first specialized university in the Middle East and Africa in Communications, Information technology, and affected fields. It was established by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to become a leading academic institution offering specialized educational programs to meet the needs of the labor market of state-of-the-art ICT specialists and is located in the Knowledge City in the new administrative capital.

Egypt University of Informatics has four faculties (Computing and Information Sciences, Engineering, Business Informatics, Digital Arts, and Design), offering 16 specialized educational programs to meet the labor market’s needs from specialists in the latest fields of ICT, such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Engineering, Electronics Industry and Communications Science, Business Analysis and Digital Marketing, Animation Arts, User Experience and Game Design.
