EUI SU Unites Students for Iftar and Commitment to Social Responsibility

EUI Student Union organized its first group iftar last Thursday on campus in the Knowledge City, New Administrative Capital, to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan. Over 300 students from the university’s four faculties—engineering, Computing and Information Sciences, Business Informatics, and Digital Arts and Design and faculty members attended the event.
The iftar gathering featured various artistic activities and events, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that strengthened the sense of unity and collaboration among students and faculty.
As part of the event, the student union also launched a Ramadan donation campaign, successfully preparing 120 food packages, each containing essential household items weighing approximately 12 kilograms. These packages were distributed to daily wage workers in Knowledge City, reinforcing the EUI’s commitment to social responsibility.
The student union emphasized that such initiatives align with EUI’s comprehensive partnership approach with the surrounding community, aiming to collaborate with business sectors, students, and underprivileged groups, ensuring meaningful contributions and support to all stakeholders.
