EUI Maintains Global Impact Ranking for 2025, advances in three Sustainable Development Goals

Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) has maintained its position in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025, securing a spot in the 1501+ category despite increased global competition, with participating universities rising from 1,963 in 2024 to 2,318 this year. Demonstrating progress in key areas, EUI improved its rankings in SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being (now 1501+) and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth (moving from 601-800 to 1001+) while also advancing in SDG 5: Gender Equality (now ranked 801-1000). The university retained its standing in SDG 4: Quality Education (1501+) and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals (1501+), reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and global development. Since its first inclusion in the rankings just two years ago, EUI has consistently strengthened its contributions to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, reflecting its dedication to academic excellence and societal impact. A university spokesperson highlighted this achievement as evidence of EUI’s resilience and strategic focus on creating meaningful change. As it expands its academic and research initiatives, EUI continues to solidify its role as a key player in advancing sustainable development in higher education worldwide.
