EUI featured in 2024 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings
Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) has been ranked among the top universities in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings for 2024, having been evaluated just two years after commencing its educational programs. This ranking includes 2,152 universities and educational institutions from 125 countries and regions.
EUI has demonstrated its commitment to addressing the most pressing global challenges and excelled in achieving several sustainable development goals, including decent work and economic growth (ranked 601-800), gender equality (ranked 601-800), reducing inequality (ranked 801-1000), as well as other factors. This success and inclusion in the Times Higher Education ranking is a starting point for future achievements and more efforts to design and commit to making a positive impact in the world.
EUI is one of the first specialized universities in the Middle East and Africa in fields such as communication, information technology, and related fields, established by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to become a leading academic institution that offers specialized educational programs to meet the needs of the labor market for professionals in the latest fields of information technology and communication. Its headquarters is located in the New Administrative Capital.
The university comprises four faculties: Computing and Information Sciences, Engineering, Business Informatics, and Digital Arts and Design, and offers 16 specialized educational programs to meet the needs of the labor market for professionals in the latest fields of information technology and communication, such as artificial intelligence, data science, electronics engineering, microelectronics, business analysis, digital marketing, animation, user experience, and electronic game design.
