Business Informatics Academics Strengthen Academic Innovation Through McGraw Hill’s AI-Powered Learning Workshop

A group of distinguished academics from the Faculty of Business Informatics at Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) participated in the exclusive faculty workshop organized by McGraw-Hill, titled “Transforming Accounting and Business Analytics Education with AI & Data-Driven Strategies.” The workshop took place at the Renaissance Cairo Mirage City Hotel in New Cairo and featured Prof. Vernon J. Richardson, Distinguished Professor of Accounting at the University of Arkansas and one of McGraw Hill’s most influential authors.

Representing EUI at the workshop were Prof. Mohamed Saleh, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Mennatallah Abdullah, Assistant Professor of Accounting; Dr. Marwa Sabry, Assistant Professor of Data Analytics and Mathematical Modeling; and Mr. Ali Ahmed, Assistant Lecturer. The team engaged in hands-on sessions focused on integrating AI and analytics into business and accounting education, with practical activities using tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.

The workshop offered valuable insights into classroom-tested strategies, curriculum development, and the use of data-driven teaching methodologies. The participation of the EUI delegation reflects the faculty’s strong commitment to innovation in business education and its dedication to preparing students for future careers in a data-centric world.
