Teaching Assistant/ Assistant Lecturer
Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) is seeking to fill the following full-time position: Teaching Assistant/Assistant Lecturer in Finance for the Faculty of Business Informatics. Successful candidates will work closely with faculty members to enhance the learning experience and ensure the smooth delivery of course content.
Job Description:
- Assist in the preparation of lectures, course materials, and classroom activities.
- Lead tutorials and laboratory sessions, ensuring clarity and student engagement.
- Grade assignments, quizzes, and other coursework in a fair and timely manner.
- Support the coordination and logistical management of the course.
- Hold regular office hours to provide academic assistance and guidance to students.
- Address student inquiries and facilitate their understanding of course material.
- Participate in departmental meetings, events, and initiatives as required.
Assist faculty with ongoing research activities and administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree with a specialization in finance (a master’s degree is preferred).
- Demonstrated academic excellence with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Prior experience in academic support, teaching assistance, or research roles is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English with a strong command of both written and spoken language.
Teaching Assistants (TAs):
- Candidates must have graduated within the past two years.
- A minimum overall grade of “Very Good” is a must.
Assistant Lecturers (ALs):
- Candidates must have obtained their master’s degree within the last three years.
- Their teaching experience should not exceed four years.
