Incubation Supervisor
The newly established Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center of Egypt University of Informatics (EUI), located in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), is looking for qualified candidates to fill the full-time Incubation Supervisor position.
Overview:
The Incubation Supervisor will be key in managing the incubation programs at EUI’s newly established Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center. This role focuses on supporting early-stage startups, fostering innovation, and creating a conducive environment for entrepreneurial growth. The Incubation Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations, mentor entrepreneurs, and drive program success within the university’s ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Incubation Program Management:
Oversee the design, execution, and management of the center's incubation programs.
Support startups with resources, guidance, and access to mentorship to enhance their growth.
Monitor startup performance, milestones, and deliverables, providing constructive feedback.
Coordinate regular progress reviews and ensure startups align with program objectives.
2. Mentorship and Support:
Act as the primary point of contact for incubated startups, addressing their needs and challenges.
Facilitate access to mentors, advisors, and subject matter experts.
Guide business development, funding strategies, and operational planning.
3. Ecosystem Engagement:
Cultivate an entrepreneurial culture within the university by engaging students, faculty, and alumni.
Foster collaboration between startups, faculty researchers, and industry experts.
Build and maintain a network of partners, investors, and service providers to support the incubation program.
4. Event Coordination:
Organize training sessions, workshops, and networking events for incubated startups.
Assist in planning and executing pitch days, hackathons, and innovation challenges.
Encourage participation in national and international entrepreneurship competitions.
5. Operational Oversight:
Manage incubation facilities, ensuring startups have access to necessary resources (workspace, technology, etc.).
Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline incubation processes.
Maintain records of incubated startups and prepare reports for university leadership.
6. Strategic Contributions:
Contribute to the development of incubation strategies aligned with the center’s vision.
Identify opportunities for program improvement and recommend innovative solutions.
Collaborate with the center’s team to align incubation activities with broader initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
7+ years of experience in startup support, program management, or a similar role.
Experience with startup ecosystems, incubation processes, and business development.
Experience in a university or innovation-driven environment is an asset.
