ESL/EFL Instructor
Egypt University of Informatics (EUI), located in the New Administrative Capital, is seeking qualified candidates to fill multiple ESL/EFL Instructor positions on a full-time basis in the English Language Department for the Academic Year 2025–2026.
Role Purpose:
Deliver high-quality English for Academic Purposes (EAP) instruction across various disciplines, including Art & Design, Business, and Engineering & Computing.
Provide a stimulating and rewarding language learning experience for students.
Apply best practices in teaching, lesson planning, learning support, and assessment using diverse resources and pedagogical approaches.
Ensure instruction is informed by current research, and support students in developing critical thinking, debate, and academic discourse skills.
Engage in critical reflection of teaching practices and actively contribute to quality assurance and enhancement processes.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the English Language Department and across the broader EUI community.
Participate in professional development activities as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English language lessons tailored to the academic needs of students across EUI faculties.
Track student progress, provide regular feedback, and encourage learner autonomy.
Contribute to the design, evaluation, and enhancement of English language curricula, materials, and services.
Perform administrative tasks related to teaching and assessment in a timely and professional manner.
Engage in continuous professional development and performance review processes to maintain high teaching standards.
Qualifications :
Essential:
A recognized ELT certificate (e.g., CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL) is mandatory.
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
At least two years of full-time post-certificate teaching experience with young adults and adults. Exceptional candidates with less than two years of experience may also be considered.
University-level teaching experience is highly valued.
Desirable:
A recognized ELT diploma, such as DELTA or Trinity DipTESOL (or equivalent).
A master’s degree in ELT/TESOL or a related field is preferred but not required.
