We invite experienced and visionary applicants to act as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. Candidates are expected to inspire our students, faculty, and staff while driving the strategic direction of the faculty to achieve greater heights.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Provide visionary leadership to the Faculty of Engineering, setting and implementing its strategic goals in alignment with the university’s mission.
•    Oversee the development and enhancement of academic programs to ensure excellence in teaching and learning.
•    Foster a culture of innovation and research, supporting faculty and students in pursuing groundbreaking initiatives.
•    Strengthen partnerships with industry, government, and academic institutions locally and globally.
•    Manage the faculty's resources, and personnel to ensure operational efficiency.
•    Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across all areas of the faculty.

Qualifications and Experience:

•    A full professor with a Ph.D. in Engineering from a reputable university.
•    Proven leadership experience in academic administration, such as serving as a dean, vice Dean, Department Chair, or similar role.
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
•    A distinguished academic record with a strong portfolio of research, publications, and teaching.
•    Commitment to promoting academic excellence and student success.
•    Able to adapt to changing circumstances and lead the faculty engineering to excellence.
•    A track record of securing research funding and fostering partnerships with industry or governmental bodies is preferable.
•    English proficiency is a must.
