Egypt University of Informatics (EUI), located in the New Administrative Capital  within the New Administrative Capital (NAC) is seeking candidates for the Student Life Officer / Specialist vacancy for immediate hiring.

 

Position Description:

EUI is hiring a Graphic Design on a full-time basis and welcomes candidates to participate in a dynamic and collaborative setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for the execution of students’ engagement activities. Please read all the requirements below:

 

Job Requirements:

  • Implement student engagement activities and manage the student life budget and resources efficiently.
  • Stay updated on current trends and best practices in student life programming.
  • Collaborate with external organizations to create opportunities for student engagement and internships.
  • Compile reports and data on student life activities and participation.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with companies and entities to offer training and internships for students.

 

Responsibilities related to Event Management:

  • Plan, organize, and execute various student events throughout the year, including orientation programs, social gatherings, cultural activities, and leadership workshops.
  • Manage logistics such as budgeting, scheduling, venue booking, and vendor selection for student event planning.
  • Promote events through diverse channels to ensure high student participation.

 

Responsibilities related to Student Leadership Development:

  • Advise student government organizations and clubs, offering guidance and support for their activities and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement programs that cultivate leadership skills, teamwork, and communication among students.
  • Train and mentor student leaders, preparing them for responsible roles within the University community.

 

Responsibilities related to Fostering a Positive Student Life Environment:

  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify student needs and interests, and design programs to address them.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and diversity, ensuring all students feel valued and supported. Maintain open communication channels with students to collect feedback and suggestions for improvement.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in college student personnel, psychology, social work, education, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in student life, higher education student activities, and higher education administration.
  • Proven ability in long-term planning and implementation.
  • Understanding of student development principles in higher education.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a collaborative governance environment.
  • Commitment to prioritizing customer service.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and various job-related software applications.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English.
