EUI offers 20 full scholarships for top Thanaweya Amma and foreign certificate holders

 

Egypt University of Informatics has announced the provision of 20 full scholarships for top-performing Thanaweya Amma graduates and holders of foreign certificates for the upcoming academic year 2024/2025. These scholarships are intended for enrollment in any of its four faculties: Computing and Information Sciences, Engineering, Business Informatics, and Digital Arts and Design. The university offers a total of 16 academic programs, with the goal of localizing technological advancements and innovations within Egypt.

This announcement was made during the Board of Trustees' discussion on the university's key accomplishments in the 2023/2024 academic year and its pivotal role in supporting the future industry, the fourth industrial revolution, entrepreneurship, and contributing to the ongoing digital transformation witnessed by the new republic. The university achieves this through its academic programs and research initiatives tailored to meet the current and future demands of the labor market.

Prof. Reem Bahgat confirmed that the university's Board of Trustees has approved full scholarships for top Thanaweya Amma graduates and foreign certificate holders from all governorates across Egypt for the academic year 2024-2025. This initiative extends from the President's previous efforts aimed at supporting top Thanaweya Amma graduates, with the condition that these scholarships remain valid throughout their academic tenure, contingent upon their academic excellence. These scholarships cover tuition fees and transportation expenses for major areas in Cairo and Giza.

Prof. Bahgat further mentioned that during a recent meeting chaired by Eng. Raafat Hindi, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Infrastructure Affairs and Vice Chairman of EUI’s Board of Trustees, the Board also approved various partial academic scholarships based on merit, athletic scholarships, and scholarships for students with special needs. These initiatives aim to localize technological sciences and industries within Egypt and address the labor market's demand for specialists in cutting-edge fields of data science and communications, including artificial intelligence, data engineering, electronics, communications sciences, business analysis, digital marketing, user experience, and electronic game design.

Egypt University of Informatics is one of the first specialized universities in the Middle East and Africa in Communications, Information Technology, and their affected areas. It was founded by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to become a leading academic institution offering specialized educational programs to meet the needs of the labor market with highly experienced ICT professionals.

Egypt University of Informatics has four faculties (Computing and Information Sciences, Engineering, Business Informatics, Digital Arts and Design). It offers 16 specialized educational programs to meet the labor market's needs from specialists in the latest fields of ICT, such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Mechatronics, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Animation Arts, User Experience, and Game Design.
