Dr. Zeinab M. Nawar is currently Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Business Informatics – The Egyptian University of Informatics.
Dr. Nawar worked as an Assistant Professor at the British University in Egypt (BUE) for 10 years. before joining the BUE Dr. Nawar taught at the AUC, .
Dr. Nawar worked for (10) years in the management of governmental projects at the Office of the Minister of Finance, and the Office of the Minister of Local Development. Topics of Experience: Local Economic Development, Aid to the Developing World, Economics of ports and Health Economics.
Dr. Nawar is a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences – Cairo University for the specialization of the Political Economy for the Masters and Ph.D. levels.
Dr. Nawar was a guest speaker at (4) universities in India, a lead researcher, and a Project Manager for a Project financed by a British university titled “How to set a competitive pricing system for the Egyptian Ports”,
Dr. Nawar obtained a PhD in Economics, the Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences – Cairo University. MA in Economics from the American University in Cairo.
Dr. Nawar had participated in a number of workshops related to the pricing in ports and the effect of COVID-19 on the international trade, Foreign Direct Investment and Ports activities worldwide and in Egypt. Dr. Nawar was a deputy director of the Center of Governance, Innovation, and green economy at the BUE.
Dr. Nawar is an active speaker in TV explaining the main economic reform projects in Egypt and the main presidential meetings and visits.
