Biography
Menatalla Abdalla is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Faculty of Business Informatics, Egypt University of Informatics (EUI). Before joining EUI, Menatalla worked for three years at Galala University (GU), where she was the Director of the Business Information Systems Program, an Assistant Professor in the Accounting Department in the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, and the leader of the strategic planning task force that developed GU’s strategic plan 2022-2026 in coordination with the British Council. Menatalla Abdalla is also an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Alexandria University. Before joining the academics, Menatalla worked as a Financial Coordinator at Unilever Mashreq for a few years. After that, she has joined Alexandria University for teaching and research. She received her PhD degree in Accounting Information Systems from Alexandria University in 2018. Menatalla's research interests include topics in financial accounting, auditing and information systems. In addition, as part of a program funded by Ford Foundation at the American University in Cairo, she participated in a research study investigating equity in higher education in Egypt.
