Zeina Mohamed Wins Second Place at Telfer BTCC Competition

Zeina Mohamed, a student from the Business Technology program at Egypt University of Informatics, achieved an impressive second-place finish at the BTCC Case Competition, organized by the Telfer Business Technology Association at the Telfer School of Management.

The competition focused on digital transformation, challenging participating teams to analyze a real-world business scenario and develop innovative, technology-driven solutions within a limited timeframe.

For Zeina, the experience marked an important milestone as it was her first-ever case competition. Working alongside her teammates, she engaged in intensive brainstorming sessions, strategic thinking, and rapid solution development to deliver a comprehensive proposal within just a few hours.

Reflecting on the experience, Zeina shared that the competition was both challenging and rewarding. It pushed her to think creatively under pressure while strengthening collaboration and problem-solving skills—key competencies for future leaders in business technology.

“I’m really grateful for the opportunity to learn, challenge myself, and work alongside such a great team,” Zeina said. “The experience has definitely motivated me to participate in more case competitions in the future.”

Participation in international competitions like this highlights the commitment of Egypt University of Informatics to preparing students with the practical skills, global exposure, and innovative mindset needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving digital economy.
