EUIan Omar Shafie Publishes Research on Ethical Dimensions of AI at an International Conference

Omar Shafie, a student at Egypt University of Informatics (EUI), recently participated virtually in the International Conference on Robotics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence (ICRMLAI), held in India on June 15, 2025.

As part of the conference, Omar presented his research paper titled “Anthropomorphized Intelligence: A Critical Analysis of Ethical Considerations in AI Companion Design and Its Societal Implications.” The paper examines the intricate intersection of ethics, human psychology, and artificial intelligence, providing a critical analysis of how AI companion technologies may impact human relationships and social dynamics.
