The Dean of the Faculty of Business informatics moderating two sessions at the Rebranding Egypt Conference
Prof. Samaa Taher, the Dean of the Faculty of Business Informatics, Egypt University of Informatics, participated in two scientific sessions at the "Rebranding Egypt Conference, organized by the Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University on investing the power of scientific research and knowledge in rebuilding Egypt's brand as a regional center for tourism, investment, export, culture, arts, and education.
The Dean of the Faculty of Business Informatics expressed her pleasure in moderating two sessions out of her belief in the message and objectives of the Conference in building awareness of the importance of rebuilding Egypt's brand and enriching it through discussions and interactive sessions involving all stakeholders in all Egyptian sectors, and eventually increase Foreign Investment, exports and the rates of touristic delegations to our beloved Egypt. She called for such a conference to be held periodically, attracting expertise from all sectors to open up the debate and find solutions to existing challenges.
During the seminars, the close relationship between education, innovation, and scientific research was addressed in building Egypt's brand through developing higher education in parallel with the business environment variables. Egypt University of Informatics could be an excellent example of this by qualifying its students with the sciences of the future and the requirements of the fourth industrial revolution from young cadres, equipped with the science and knowledge of unique disciplines that keep pace with the fast changes. It also stressed the importance of developing scientific research and linking it to Egypt's social and development fields, in addition to the need for university students to acquire the skills of a digital entrepreneur.
Egypt University of Informatics is the first specialized university in the Middle East and Africa in Communications, Information Technology, and affected areas. It was established by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to become a leading academic institution offering specialized educational programs, to meet the needs of the labor market of state-of-the-art ICT specialists based in the Knowledge City at the New Administrative Capital.
EUI has four faculties: (Computing and Information Sciences, Engineering, Business Informatics, Digital Arts & Design), offering 16 specialized educational programs to meet the need of the labor market from specialists in the latest fields of ICT such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, Electronics Industry & Communications, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Animation Arts, User Experience and Electronic Game Design.
