Yasser Kazem
Secretary General
Yasser Hussein Kazem is the Secretary-General of Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) since its founding in 2021 and Director General of the General Directorate for IT Tools Dissemination and the E-Learning Competence Center (ELCC) at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, which he co-founded with Cisco in 2004. With over 30 years of experience in business administration, training, human resource development, e-learning, and ICT integration in education, he has held key positions including Assistant President for E-Learning at the Information Technology Institute (ITI), Director and Executive Director of the Regional Information Technology Institute (RITI), and Training Manager at the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC). Kazem has led award-winning projects recognized by Cisco, UNECA, and other international organizations. He is a member of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, HRMA, ASTD, IRMA, and ISOC, co-founded the Internet Society of Egypt (ISE), and has served on the Board of Trustees of the Egyptian E-Learning University since 2017.
