Network Technician
About the Role:
EUI is seeking a Network Technician on a full-time basis for the IT department. The job holder is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer networks. They play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of network passive connectivity. This position requires a strong understanding of networking, cabling, and infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Install and maintain passive network components.
Analyze, plan, design, and implement network passive infrastructure (fiber/copper).
Execute passive design tasks, including both high-level and low-level architecture.
Understand and resolve passive infrastructure design requests.
Document port assignments accurately.
Manage, support, and document passive material installations.
Adhere to planned schedules and ensure timely task completion.
Perform cabling activities as required.
Document customer network and passive infrastructure issues and their resolutions.
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales and Presales) to fill information gaps and communicate architectural or technical solutions when needed.
Be available on-call, 24/7, for any technical incidents, problems, or emergencies.
Participate in additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members to deliver high-quality IT services.
Skills and Qualifications:
Networking Fundamentals: Solid understanding of core networking concepts such as IP addressing, subnetting, LAN, WAN, and DNS.
Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience.
Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve basic physical network issues using standard diagnostic tools and techniques.
Documentation: Strong attention to detail in maintaining accurate port, endpoint, and labeling documentation.
Customer Service: Customer-focused mindset with the ability to deliver excellent technical support to end-users.
Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
Teamwork: Strong ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to shared team goals.
Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
