Media Production Senior Specialist
About the role:
EUI is seeking a highly skilled Media Production Senior Specialist on a full-time basis to lead the creation of high-quality visual content that enhances the university’s public image and supports strategic communications. This role involves producing engaging videos, capturing compelling photography, editing multimedia content, and designing dynamic motion graphics for digital platforms and university events. The ideal candidate is both creative and technically proficient, with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
Videography
Operate professional video cameras and equipment on location or in the studio to produce high-quality videos for social media, university events, promotional campaigns, and other media projects.
Transport, set up, and manage video production equipment, including audio and lighting tools.
Photography
Capture high-resolution, creative photographs at student, guest, and university events.
Set up and operate photographic equipment and studio lighting.
Edit and retouch images using photo editing software to maintain a consistent and professional aesthetic across platforms.
Video Editing
Review and assemble raw footage into polished video content using professional editing software.
Enhance video quality by correcting lighting, color grading, and refining audio.
Add sound effects, transitions, graphics, and titles to produce cohesive and engaging content.
Ensure final content is error-free and aligned with brand guidelines before submission.
Motion Graphics Design
Design and animate motion graphics for use in digital and multimedia campaigns, including social media posts, promotional videos, title sequences, billboards, and documentaries.
Utilize tools such as Adobe After Effects and Mocha Pro to bring visual concepts to life.
Integrate visual effects and elements to enhance the storytelling impact of each project.
Operational Responsibilities:
Maintain and update equipment inventory, ensuring all multimedia tools are in working order.
Conduct regular maintenance and minor troubleshooting of production equipment and sets.
Manage studio and field production schedules efficiently.
Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to conceptualize and execute multimedia strategies that support institutional goals.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 6 years of experience in media production, including videography, photography, editing, and motion design.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Strong technical knowledge of video, photography, lighting, and audio equipment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent attention to detail and time management.
Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality multimedia work, particularly in a professional or academic setting.
