Faculty Members
The Faculty of Digital Arts and Design at Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) is seeking highly qualified part-time faculty members for the 2025–2026 academic year with academic or industry expertise in the following areas:
- Digital and 3D Animation
- Digital Interior Design
Position Overview
Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring students, and actively contributing to academic activities on designated teaching days. Faculty members are expected to engage with curriculum development and ensure alignment with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in the assigned specialization, primarily in English.
- Employ innovative and student-centered teaching methodologies supported by diverse learning resources.
- Provide academic support through scheduled office hours, both in-person and online, including discussion groups and LMS tools.
- Contribute to the assessment, grading, and documentation of course materials.
- Submit an annual progress report highlighting teaching achievements and contributions.
- Participate in curriculum development and departmental activities.
- Carry out additional academic or administrative duties as assigned by the faculty’s leadership.
General Qualifications
- PhD or recognized industry expertise in the relevant field.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Prior university-level teaching experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
Specialized Qualifications
For Digital and 3D Animation:
- PhD or extensive professional experience in character design, storyboarding, animation, video editing, or related fields.
- Demonstrated proficiency in animation fundamentals, visual storytelling, and technical execution.
- Expertise in relevant animation software, such as Moho, Procreate, After Effects, Sound Forge, and Toon Boom.
For Digital Interior Design:
- PhD in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a closely related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of interior design principles, materials, and detailing.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
