Faculty Member
The Faculty of Business Informatics is looking to fill Two Part-time faculty member vacancies to teach:
- Leadership and Organizational Behavior
- Finance Theory and Portfolio Management.
The two shortlisted candidates will be hired for Fall 2025. The faculty invites candidates to become engaged in an interactive teaching environment. Candidates are expected to discuss various scientific concepts, applications, and problems in their lecture, and be able to challenge and motivate students. They are expected to supervise students, work independently, collaborate on research topics, and publish papers in highly ranked journals.
Job Description:
- Deliver course content effectively through well-structured lectures, discussions, and learning activities.
- Ensure alignment of teaching materials with the course objectives and learning outcomes.
- Prepare high-quality lectures, assignments, exams, and other instructional materials.
- Integrate current research, case studies, and relevant tools to enhance learning.
- Assess and grade student work per university policies and academic standards.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning.
- Encourage student participation, critical thinking, and academic curiosity.
- Offer regular office hours and academic support as needed.
Qualifications:
- PhD Degree in “Management” or “Finance” (According to the vacancy)
- Proven teaching experience at the university level, especially in related courses.
- Strong command of subject matter and excellent presentation skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
