Faculty Member (PT/FT)

The  Faculty of Digital Arts and Design located on EUI's campus at the New Administrative Capital (NAC) is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following vacancy in the academic year 2024/2025. 

 

Position Description: 

The Faculty of Digital Arts and Design at EUI seeks applicants for a full-time/part-time faculty member position specializing in Digital Architecture or Interior Design, the faculty invites candidates to be engaged in an interactive teaching environment. Candidates are expected to discuss scientific concepts, applications, and problems in their lectures, and be able to challenge and motivate students. 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Teaching lectures in their specialization mostly using the English language.
  • Employing innovative approaches to teaching and supporting students through the use of a wide range of learning resources and various teaching practices.
  • Interacting with the students during office hours both face-to-face and online using discussion groups and other tools on the LMS.
  • Participate in curriculum development and oversee student research projects.
  • Performing any other administrative duties as assigned by the management. 
  • Submitting end-of-semester progress reports with achievements for evaluation.
  • Participate in conferences and scientific seminars and build collaborative relationships with relevant institutions.
    • PhD degree in Digital Architecture or Interior Design.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Prior teaching experience in architecture or interior design at the university level.
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest digital design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and others), as well as virtual and augmented reality applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and engagingly.
  • Interest in research and publication in related fields.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Eagerness to adopt the latest teaching methodologies and educational technologies.
