Six BI Teams Earn BSG Global Top 100 for the Final Week
Business Informatics students have once again demonstrated exceptional performance on the global stage, with six teams earning a place in the BSG (McGraw-Hill Business Strategy Game) Global Top 100 rankings for the final week of 4–10 May 2026, under the guidance of Dr. Mentalla Abdalla, Assistant Professor at the faculty.
Each week, the BSG platform compiles a list of the best-performing companies worldwide based on four key performance measures: Overall Game-To-Date Score, Earnings Per Share (EPS), Return on Average Equity (ROE), and Stock Price. Earning a Top 100 ranking among thousands of competing teams from universities around the world is a remarkable achievement.
Leading the class were two teams who achieved the highest possible recognition. Aire (Company A) from Industry 1 and Dyno Shoes (Company D) from Industry 2 both recorded a perfect Overall Game-To-Date Score of 110.0, tied for the #1 spot worldwide — the best overall score performance of the week among all competing teams globally.
Aire's performance extended well beyond the overall score. The team posted an EPS of $29.63, ranking 61st worldwide, an ROE of 72.4%, ranking 24th worldwide, and a stock price of $776.70, ranking 48th worldwide. Dyno Shoes matched that excellence across the board, recording an EPS of $31.84 (52nd worldwide), an outstanding ROE of 92.6% (8th worldwide), and a stock price of $871.46 (30th worldwide).
Beyond the top two, four additional teams from Dr. Abdalla's class secured Global Top 100 rankings across multiple performance indicators.
Huxley (Company H) from Industry 1 earned recognition in three categories, recording an EPS of $27.08 (80th worldwide), an ROE of 50.9% (79th worldwide), and a stock price of $732.05 (56th worldwide). Glide Sole (Company G), also from Industry 1, earned a Top 100 ranking for its ROE of 49.7%, placing 94th worldwide.
In Industry 2, Elitewalk (Company E) was recognized for its ROE of 59.4% (48th worldwide) and a stock price of $670.24 (69th worldwide). FootSole (Company F) rounded out the class's achievements with an EPS of $25.35 (96th worldwide) and a stock price of $672.69 (68th worldwide).
This outstanding performance across six teams and two industries is a testament to the dedication of Business Informatics students and the quality of instruction they receive. Competing against teams from universities worldwide, these students have proven their ability to think strategically, manage resources effectively, and deliver results at the highest level.
Congratulations to all six teams and to Dr. Abdalla for this well-deserved recognition!
