EUI Is Now the Only Egyptian University Accredited by IoA
The Faculty of Business Informatics at the Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) has received accreditation from the Institute of Analytics (IoA), a London-based global professional body, for its Business Analytics program. With this achievement, EUI becomes the only educational institution in Egypt to hold this accreditation.
IoA brings together data analytics professionals to ensure the quality of education in data science and artificial intelligence (AI), while promoting the responsible use of data by professionals, organizations, and academia.
More than 500 students have studied the program at the Faculty. The curriculum focuses on three core areas of modern business analytics: descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. It adopts a hands-on approach that incorporates real-world datasets.
The program covers a range of topics shaping the future of business, including big data, machine learning, AI, robotics, and data ethics. Beyond developing technical skills, it teaches students how to apply analytics to organizational decision-making. Students also gain practical experience in processing unstructured data, building predictive models, visualizing findings using dashboards, and explaining results to non-technical audiences.
These skills prepare graduates for a range of career opportunities, including business intelligence and analytics, which involves transforming company data into strategic insights. Graduates can also work in financial analysis, through risk modeling, performance forecasting, and investment decision support. Other career paths include marketing analytics, operations and supply chain analysis, and management consulting, which helps organizations develop effective data strategies and make informed decisions.
In addition to opening up career opportunities, the program allows graduates to apply for IoA's professional membership, which is highly valued by employers across the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East.
The accreditation reflects the Faculty's commitment to preparing a new generation of skilled professionals to meet the growing demand for data analytics expertise in Egypt and the Arab region. It also highlights EUI's dedication to delivering educational programs that align with labor market needs and bridge academic knowledge with practical application. Through this approach, EUI aims to equip graduates with the skills to use data effectively to support decision-making and improve organizational performance across various sectors.
