Yasser Kazem
EUI's Secretary General
Yasser Hussein Kazem has been the Secretary-General of Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) since its founding in 2021. Before that, he held various positions across academic and ICT entities, including Secretary-General of Galala University and Director General of the General Directorate for IT Tools Dissemination and the E-Learning Competence Center (ELCC) at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, which he co-founded with Cisco in 2004.
With over 30 years of experience in business administration, training, human resource development, e-learning, and ICT integration in education, he has held key positions including Deputy Chairman for E-Learning at the Information Technology Institute (ITI), Executive Director of the Regional Information Technology Institute (RITI), and Training Manager at the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC). Kazem has led award-winning projects recognized by Cisco, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), and the World Economic Forum. He has also been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Egyptian E-Learning University since 2017.
