Limited Tender for Contracting with a Transportation Company

Invitation to Participate in the Limited Tender for Contracting with a Company Specializing in Transporting Students, Faculty Members, Teaching Assistants, and Staff for the Academic Year 2025-2026 

 

Greetings,

We are honored to invite you to participate in the limited tender for contracting with a company specializing in the transportation of students, faculty members, teaching assistants, and staff for the 2025-2026 academic year, according to the point-based acceptance or rejection system.

Terms and Conditions 

This invitation is in accordance with the  above terms and conditions  document and the following additional details:

  • Bids should be submitted in the name of the Procurement Department, located at the Knowledge City, New Administrative Capital, Egypt, University of Egypt for Information Technology.

  • The bids should be submitted in two sealed envelopes, one containing the technical proposal and the other containing the financial proposal.

  • The temporary insurance amount for the process is as per the table provided in the terms and specifications document, in accordance with the items to which you are applying.

  • The final insurance shall be 5% of the total contract value upon awarding the contract.

  • The validity period of the bids is three months.
    The temporary and final insurance must be paid either by bank deposit to the university's account or by an unconditional guarantee letter. The letter must include a statement from the bank confirming that it is within the limits authorized by the Central Bank of Egypt, and it should be valid for four months from the date of envelope opening. It should be increased to 5% of the total contract value as final insurance within a period not exceeding ten working days from the notice of awarding the bid. The final insurance should remain valid throughout the contract period until its completion.

  • A confirmation of receipt of this email or a notification of the intent to withdraw from attending the tender should be sent.

  • A session for inquiries will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, 22/09/2025, to answer any questions related to the terms and specifications document.

  • The last date for receiving bids is 12:00 PM on Wednesday, 01/10/2025, which is the scheduled time for opening the envelopes. Late bids will not be considered.

  • The representative must attend with the original authorization document along with a copy of their national ID card.

  • This process is subject to the internal regulations of the university, and it is the responsibility of the applicant to review them.

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the limited tender for the purchase of laboratory and information technology equipment for the years 2025-2026, based on a technical evaluation score of 60% and a financial evaluation score of 40%. 

 Terms and Conditions

This invitation is in accordance with the  above terms and conditions  document and the following additional details:

  • Bids should be submitted in the name of the Procurement Department—Knowledge City Headquarters—New Administrative Capital—Egypt University for Informatics.

  • The bids should be submitted in two sealed envelopes: one for the technical offer and the other for the financial offer.

  • A temporary security deposit is required for the process. The amount of the temporary security deposit is as per the value mentioned in the terms and specifications document for each item in Egyptian pounds.

  • The final security deposit shall be 5% of the total contract value upon the award.

  • The validity period of the bids is three months.

  • The deposit should be made via a bank transfer to the university's account or by an unconditional bank guarantee. The guarantee should specify the items for which the bid is being made and the tender name and include a statement from the bank confirming that the deposit is within the limits approved by the Central Bank. The guarantee should be valid for four months from the date of envelope opening, increasing to 5% of the total contract value as a final security deposit within a period not exceeding ten working days from the notification of award. The final security deposit shall remain valid throughout the supply period until the full quantity is delivered and inspected and the three-year warranty period is complete.

  • Please confirm the receipt of this email or provide an apology if you are unable to attend the tender.

  • A session for inquiries will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, to answer any questions related to the terms and specifications document.

  • The deadline for receiving bids is 12:00 PM on Sunday, August 31, 2025, which is the designated time for opening the envelopes. Late submissions will not be considered.

  • The representative must be present with the original authorization letter along with a copy of their national ID card.

  • This process is subject to the university’s internal regulations, and it is the responsibility of the bidder to review these regulations.
