We are honored to invite you to participate in the limited tender for the procurement of laboratory and information technology equipment for the fiscal year 2025–2026, based on the evaluation system of 60% technical points and 40% financial points, per the attached tender documents and specifications.

Please abide by and consider the following conditions:

  • Offers should be submitted in the name of the Procurement Department – Knowledge City Campus – New Administrative Capital – Egypt University of Informatics.

  • Offers must be presented in two sealed envelopes, one for the technical proposal and the other for the financial proposal.

  • Temporary bid bond: the amount shall be in accordance with the value specified in the tender documents for each item, payable in Egyptian Pounds.

  • Final performance bond: 5% of the total contract value shall be paid upon award.

  • The validity period of the bids is three months.

  • Payment of the bid bond must be made through a bank deposit to the university’s account or by an unconditional bank guarantee specifying the item numbers being bid for and the tender name. The bank guarantee must include the bank’s declaration that it is within the limits approved by the Central Bank. It should remain valid for four months from the bid opening date, and shall be increased to 5% of the total contract value as the final performance bond within no more than ten (10) working days from the award notification. The performance bond shall remain valid throughout the supply period, until the full delivery and inspection of the required quantities, and for the warranty period of three years.

  • Confirmation of receipt of this email must be sent, or an apology for not attending the tender should be communicated.

  • An inquiry session will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, to answer any questions related to the tender documents and specifications.

  • The deadline for receiving offers is 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, 2025, which is also the scheduled time for opening the envelopes. Offers received after this deadline will not be considered.

  • The company’s representative must attend with the original authorization letter, accompanied by a copy of the national ID card.

  • This tender is subject to the university’s internal regulations, and it is the bidder’s responsibility to review them.
