About the Role
The Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences at Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) is seeking to hire a Faculty Administrative Assistant on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will coordinate, oversee, and perform a variety of administrative and support activities for the academic dean. The role involves managing office operations, coordinating special events, serving on academic committees in a support capacity, and handling confidential assignments.

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide administrative and office support to the dean, including screening and handling telephone communications, greeting and directing visitors, and addressing administrative inquiries and issues as appropriate.
Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison between the dean’s office, students, and external constituencies on a range of day-to-day matters.
Organize and facilitate meetings and special events: schedule and coordinate dates, venues, attendance, agendas, and facilities; take minutes; and provide administrative follow-up on action items.
Prepare and compose written correspondence, reports, and documentation; screen and evaluate incoming and outgoing correspondence and draft responses as appropriate.
Manage the dean’s calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements, and oversee daily office operations.
Collect, enter, and update data to maintain departmental records and databases; establish and manage organized filing systems for the office.
Carry out and coordinate administrative activities related to academic and student affairs.
Interact with students to address inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day management of supplies, equipment, and facilities, including maintenance, inventory, logistics, and related operational tasks.
Promote professional growth by participating in training programs, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
