Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) welcomed a group of top Thanaweya Amma students on campus in the Knowledge City at the New Administrative Capital to learn about the rules and conditions of the full scholarships offered to them, and EUI’s offerings across the sciences of the future.

Prof. Reem Bahgat, President of Egypt University of Informatics, congratulated students and their parents on this excellence resulting from diligence and perseverance. She wished them continued excellence and more significant effort in their academic studies and practical careers, as well as an opportunity to join EUI through full scholarships to study at one of the four available faculties 4 (Engineering, Computing and Information Sciences, Business Informatics, Digital Arts and Design), as per the presidential initiative of his excellency, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, with the support of the banking sector and ICT industry partners.

She also pointed out that quality education will remain at the forefront of the best investment in the future, contributing to the preparation and qualification of outstanding young creative mindsets." She emphasized that attention to and promoting education by the highest international standards have been among EUI’s top priorities since its establishment.

In an open discussion with top students and their parents, Prof. Reem emphasized that education is the foundation for building the future and the central pillar of societies' inclusive and sustainable development. Therefore, Egypt University of Informatics is a leading academic institution that keeps pace with the present and future requirements as one of the first specialized universities in Communications, Data Science, and Business Informatics in Africa and the Middle East. She noted that the sustainability of education with qualitative outputs is a national pillar and a strategic goal that is a priority of the new Republic and Egypt's Vision 2030.

Prof. Ahmed Hassan, EUI’s Vice President for Academic Affairs, explained that Egypt University of Informatics operates at the highest international standards, enjoying a prestigious scientific status, as reflected in several cooperation agreements we have signed with the world's major top-ranked universities. This enables it to achieve its goals of graduating and qualifying superior generations competitive in the domestic and global labor market and take further responsibility for leading the future.

Prof. Ahmed Hassan noted that the academic programs offered by EUI are very advanced and aligned with modern educational methods,  aimed at providing students with the science and skills that qualify them to be active members of society and in all fields and sectors after graduation.

After their campus tour, top students expressed their admiration for being on the EUI campus. The state-of-the-art facilities they witnessed have truly matched their ambition, expressing their thanks and appreciation for this prestigious academic entity that allows them to study through full scholarships offered by the university in cooperation with industry partners and the banking sector.

Egypt University of Informatics is one of the first specialized universities in the Middle East and Africa in Communications, Information Technology, and their affected areas. It was founded by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to become a leading academic institution offering specialized educational programs to meet the needs of the labor market with highly experienced ICT professionals.

Egypt University of Informatics has four faculties (Computing and Information Sciences, Engineering, Business Informatics, Digital Arts and Design). It offers 16 specialized educational programs to meet the labor market's needs from specialists in the latest fields of ICT, such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Animation Arts, User Experience, and Game Design.
