Biography


Dr. Amr Elmasry received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Engineering from the ‎Faculty of Engineering at Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt, in 1991 and 1995, ‎respectively, and the Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Computer Science Department ‎at Rutgers University, New Jersey, in 2001. He worked as a senior researcher at Max-Planck ‎Institute for Informatics and as a full professor at the University of Copenhagen. Dr. ‎Elmasry has just been a full professor and the head of the Computer Engineering Department ‎at Alexandria University of Egypt for the last six years. Through the years, he coauthored over 100 research ‎papers.
