Tuition Fees Rules and Regulations
The tables below show the tuition fees for the academic year 2023-2024. These fees are paid in Egyptian pounds to Egyptian students. They are also paid in US dollars to non-Egyptian students.
- The tuition fees include medical insurance against emergencies inside and outside the campus.
- Tuition fees are subject to an annual increase.
- These fees don’t include transportation or accommodation fees.
- Tuition fees are paid for each semester before it begins.
Tuition Fees for Egyptian students for 2023-2024
- Faculty of Engineering
- Category C is equivalent to the 30% partial general fee reduction for the 2023-2024 cohort.
- Category B is equivalent to the 40% partial scholarship based on academic merit for the 2023-2024 cohort for scores of 80% to less than 90%, or an equivalent percentage for Arab and foreign certificates.
- Category A is equivalent to the 55% partial scholarship based on academic merit for the 2023-2024 cohort for scores of 90% or more, or an equivalent percentage for Arab and foreign certificates.
- Scholarships awarded after the first year of enrollment are subject to adjustments based on the student's cumulative GPA. Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher fall under Category A, while those with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 are placed in Category B. Additionally, students may transition from Categories A or B to C if their GPA falls below 3.2.
- Kindly note that the tuition fees for the Faculty of Engineering for the academic year 2023-2024 are calculated for Egyptian students in EGP based on the credit hour rate of 3,951 for Category C, 3,386 for Category B, and 2,540 for Category A.
- Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences
- Category C is equivalent to the 30% general partial fee reduction for the 2023-2024 cohort.
- Category B is equivalent to the 40% partial scholarship based on academic merit for the 2023-2024 cohort for scores 80% to less 90%, or an equivalent percentage for Arab and foreign certificates.
- Category A is equivalent to the 55% partial scholarship based on academic merit for the 2023-2024 cohort for scores of 90% or more, or an equivalent percentage for Arab and foreign certificates.

Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher fall under Category A, while those with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 are placed in Category B. - Kindly note that the tuition fees for the Faculty of Engineering are calculated for the academic year 2023-2024 for Egyptian students in EGP based on the credit hour rate of 3,630 for Category C, 3,111 for Category B, and 2,333 for Category A.
- Faculty of Business Informatics
- Category C is equivalent to the 35% general partial fee reduction for the 2023-2024 cohort.
- Category B is equivalent to the 40% partial scholarship based on academic merit for the 2023-2024 cohort of Holders of Thanaweya Amma( Maths and Science sections) for scores 80% to less than 90% for the science section and 70% to less than80% for the literature section
- Category A is equivalent to the 60% partial scholarship based on academic merit for the 2023-2024 cohort of Holders of Thanaweya Amma for scores of 90% or more for the science section and 80% or more for the literature section.
- Scholarships awarded after the first year of enrollment are subject to adjustments based on the student's cumulative GPA. Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher fall under Category A, while those with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 are placed in Category B. - Kindly note that the tuition fees for the Faculty of Business Informatics are calculated for the academic year 2023-2024 for Egyptian students in EGP based on the credit hour rate of 3,116 for Category C, 2,876 for Category B, and 1,918 for Category A.
- Faculty of Digital Arts and Design
- Category C is equivalent to the 35% general partial fee reduction for the 2023-2024 cohort.
- Category B is equivalent to the 40% partial scholarship based on academic merit for the 2023-2024 cohort of Holders of Thanaweya Amma( Maths and Science sections) for scores 80% to less than 90% for the science section and 70% to less than80% for the literature section
- Category A is equivalent to the 60% partial scholarship based on academic merit for the 2023-2024 cohort of Holders of Thanaweya Amma for scores of 90% or more for the science section and 80% or more for the literature section.

- Kindly note that the tuition fees for the Faculty of Digital Arts and Design are calculated for the academic year 2023-2024 for Egyptian students in EGP based on the credit hour rate of 3,075 for Category C, 2,838 for Category B, and 1,892 for Category A.

Additional fees and other costs
- EGP 1,500 Application Fee one time (non-refundable)
- EGP 13,000 Administration Fee paid one time by the first day of the first semester (non-refundable)
- In case of English Placement Test is needed, its cost is EGP 950
- Facilities Insurance: EGP 10,000 (refundable if no damage is incurred)
- In case the student gets registered in the English foundation course or the Math fundamentals course, each course is financially treated as a 3-credit hours course.
- Credit hours may vary according to the student's secondary school completion certificate and his level of English. The cost of compulsory pre-courses in English or mathematics (for the Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences) is calculated on the basis of 3 credits each, and paid in the semester in which these subjects are registered.
- If the student would like to join the dual degree program with the international university, the fees of the blended courses and the cost of the one-year study abroad will need to be paid. Please check the cost on the partner university's website for more details.
Scholarships and Reductions for Egyptian and Non-Egyptian Students
- Extra 10% off for the elder sibling
- Available Scholarships for Sports achievements, valid for the year following the athletic achievement. For non-Egyptian students, the athletic scholarship for national championships is not applied unless it is in Egypt)
- 20% Scholarship for students with special needs (to maintain this scholarship, the student should keep his GPA equivalent to 70% or more)
- 50% scholarship for sons/daughters of armed forces and police martyrs (exclusive of the partial scholarships based on merit).
Bus Fees for the academic year 2023/2024
The fees below are equivalent to the bus fees per semester.
Accommodation Fees at EUI dorms
Accommodation at EUI dorms in Rehab and Madinaty costs 10,500 LE per month (The amount for the entire semester should be paid in advance)
